I Believe...

...that when both sides of a divisive issue either agree with you or deem you a fucking idiot, you're probably on the right track...

...that the problem with yelling at each other is that no one is listening which defeats the purpose of the ideas underneath all the fucking noise.  Christ - we teach this concept to children.  Why is it so hard to figure out as adults?

...that the difference between a campaign of awareness and a vendetta of public shame is the difference between vilifying the behavior or vilifying the person behaving that way.  The former is necessary; the latter is toxic to everyone who touches it.

...that one bright spot of a Trump presidency is that the legal boundaries that bestow us our basic American rights are going to be given a thorough workout - no longer able to simply take them for granted, we will have to logically and tenaciously argue for them or watch them disappear.

...that with all the turmoil of the body politic, at least we have Rogue One to look forward to...
